Crypto businesses (Virtual Asset Service Providers or VASPs) must register and obtain a license from the Financial Regulatory Commission (FRC). Income from crypto trading is taxable. Capital gains are subject to the normal Personal Income Tax (PIT) rate, but the taxable gain basis is 50% of the capital gain.
